“This is a glimpse of the child that’s within’

He’s so immature but he’s still my best friend

If he could learn how to fly, he’d never touch down

He’s the kid that I am, when there’s no one around”

It is my goal to capture the “inner child” of each person that I photograph. The person that you are when you believe no one else is around.

I think the best photographs, the ones that depict a persons true nature, are the ones taken when that person least expects it. When you are caught in that real moment or emotion. The moments when you are most uninhibited, relaxed, REAL. Those moments are the ones that I strive to capture.

I believe this happens by keeping sessions laid back and fun. I prefer sessions without a whole lot of direction or posing. I will stand back and let you be you, and capture those spontaneous moments, that “child that’s within’”
